Daily Catch Ocean Tours

Our Fleet:

Daily Catch Ocean Tours offers a unique Newfoundland experience! Depending on the season, you can see icebergs, whales and seabirds (puffins). Cod fishing tours are also available.

The Puffling (named after a baby puffin) has on-board washrooms and can accommodate up to 6 passengers. The Puffling is also available for fishing tours.

The Noddy (named after a Newfoundland sea bird) has been custom built to our specifications. We are very excited to feature Newfoundland’s newest tour boat! The Noddy is equipped with on-board washrooms and a covered deck. Intitially we’ll be hosting 12 passengers per tour. The Noddy was built tough for the North Atlantic. We can take you well offshore to see icebergs!

L'Anse aux Meadows National Historic Site

At the tip of Newfoundland’s Great Northern Peninsula lies the first known evidence of European presence in the Americas. Here Norse expeditions sailed from Greenland, building a small encampment of timber-and-sod buildings over 1000 years ago.

Norstead Viking Village

The Norstead Viking Village at L’Anse aux Meadows only 2 kms from The UNESCO World Heritage Viking Site  has been identified as one Canada’s top ten ‘Hidden Travel Gems’.

Burnt Cape Ecological Reserve

This peninsula next to Raleigh is surrounded by cold water on 3 sides, creating an arctic climate. The Cape looks very desolate, but when you look closer you’ll see many different arctic flowers and lichen.

Imagine the quiet and simple life of the Raleigh fishermen during the booming years of the legendary Newfoundland Fishery (circa 1940’s – 1950’s).

Grenfell Historic Properties

Wilfred Thomason Grenfell was a heroic medical missionary, originally from Parkgate, England. In 1892, Dr. Grenfell was sent to Newfoundland & Labrador to investigate the state of the fishery.
